Columbus Sharks Sharks 12U jumped out to an early lead on Marysville Cobras and captured a 13-2 victory on Sunday at Berliner.

The game was decided quickly as Columbus Sharks Sharks 12U exerted its will early with eight runs in the first three innings.

A passed ball in the first inning and a groundout by Mitchell Soma, an error, and a passed ball during the second inning fueled Columbus Sharks Sharks 12U’s offense early.
Hunter Billman had two extra-base hits for Columbus Sharks Sharks 12U.

Joey Butts got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over three innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered two hits.

Cordell took the loss for Marysville Cobras. He lasted just two innings, walked four, struck out none, and allowed four runs.

Columbus Sharks Sharks 12U closer Eli Hardesty put away the final three outs to record the save.
